Bubbly French Manicure

You’ll have to excuse my pictures today – I was having “light issues” again this morning. The picture above gives a better approximation of the colors, which were a light frosty pink and a creamy white, and the picture below is a better representation of the actual manicure. I couldn’t decide which I liked better, so I posted them both.

What I used:

1 coat Zoya Anchor base coat
2 coats OPI “My Daddy is the King” light pink polish
2 coats OPI “Bubble Bath” white tips
1 coat Zoya Armor to set rhinestones
1 coat Zoya Armor to finish
I felt like I needed to “balance” my ultra bright manicure from the last couple weeks with an ultra light manicure this week. Everything in moderation, right? I normally do French manicures with two coats of the base color (pink or nude), then two coats of the tip color, then another coat of the base color over the whole thing before top coat, to blend the smile line ridge. But with this Bubble Bath creamy white, it really didn’t need blending – it created a nice line that naturally blended into the pink without any help. Very nice, I think.

It’s getting to be barefoot/flip-flop season again…so next week, tips *and* toes!
